Instrument Rating

The Instrument Rating allows pilots to fly by reference to the their flight instruments alone at high altitudes or when visibility is low.

Commercial Airlines operate in all types of weather which requires Commercial Pilots to hold an Instrument Rating.

Prerequisites:

Private Pilot License
50 Hours Pilot in Command Cross Country Flight Time
Licensing Requirements:
40 Hours Dual Instrument Flight Time
Written Exam
Flight Test
